The Distinction Between Fate and Destiny

Though often used interchangeably, fate and destiny are not the same. Over decades of serving as a medical intuitive, medium, and controlled remote viewer, I have come to experience them as distinct threads in the tapestry of life.

Fate is the foundation into which we are born—our physical body, family lineage, cultural landscape, and inherited circumstances. It marks the coordinates from which our journey begins.

Destiny, in contrast, is the soul’s invitation to its highest potential. It is not what happens to us—it is what calls us forward. Destiny asks us to rise beyond the conditions of fate and consciously shape a life aligned with our deeper spiritual purpose.

Fate may be fixed at its inception, but destiny is fluid. It is shaped through conscious awareness, courageous action, and spiritual attunement. Sometimes, the doorway to destiny opens in silence. Other times, it emerges through experiences that transcend the very fabric of time.

When Time Is Not Linear

In controlled remote viewing sessions and altered states of consciousness, time frequently dissolves its linear structure. Events unfold out of sequence. Past, present, and future intermingle—not as separate chapters, but as overlapping fields of awareness.

In one controlled remote viewing session, the client—a father concerned about his adult son’s involvement in a legal matter—sought insight into the potential outcome. I described, in detail, that his son would not carry a criminal record. Several months later, the father confirmed that the events unfolded precisely as I had reported, affirming both the accuracy of the viewing and the relief it ultimately brought.

These are not vague impressions. They are precise and verifiable. And while they defy conventional logic, they affirm something deeper: our lives are not wholly bound by chronological time. Destiny appears to exist in a more fluid field—one we can access when awareness expands and intention aligns.

Divine Beings and the Disclosure of Destiny

In elevated out-of-body experiences, many individuals report encounters with beings of immense light and intelligence. These are not imagined projections or fantasies. They are conscious presences—luminous, wise, and often life-altering.

Some appear as radiant figures, or angelic beings. Others as intelligences without form. Yet all carry a consistent resonance: unconditional love, deep clarity, and spiritual precision. They do not control us; they gently guide. Their messages point to unrecognized opportunities, dormant gifts, and soul-aligned paths waiting to be embraced.

In my work, I’ve witnessed these beings reveal to both myself and my clients the soul’s true calling—often years before the individual was consciously prepared to embrace it. These encounters do not override free will; they awaken it. Acting not as protectors of ease, but as stewards of growth, these guides offer direction through the profound gift of remembrance.

When we become willing to truly listen, they gently unveil who we have always been beneath the noise, distractions, and distortions of the external world.

Destiny and the Power of Choice

While destiny may be divinely revealed, its realization depends on one thing: choice. We must choose whether to answer the call, take the next step, or remain within the bounds of fate. I have seen people walk away from their highest path due to fear. I’ve also seen others choose it in the face of overwhelming odds. In every case, the power of conscious decision is what activates destiny and brings it into form.

Fate provides the raw material. Divine encounters reveal the design. But only choice can build the life we were born to live.
